Multi Jet Fusion - redefining 3D printing

With Multi Jet Fusion, 4D Concepts offers a 3D printing solution that redefines the production of prototypes and functional parts.
Print real functional parts with high detail resolution - the Multi Jet Fusion components are characterized by their surface quality as well as their optimal mechanical properties (Multi Jet Fusion parts, for example, are almost isotropic). Reduce your operating costs by using Multi Jet Fusion parts and thus avoid costly toolmaking.
The Multi Jet Fusion process works according to the powder principle, i.e. the print heads apply two liquids (fusing and detailing agents) on the powder material PA 12 over the entire working area. If the particles are to be selectively melted, a heat-conducting liquid is applied. A heat-inhibiting liquid is applied around the contours to ensure sharp edges and good surface quality. Heat absorbs the applied material through lamps that move across the surface of the powder. The PA 12 has a very fine granulation, so that extremely thin layers of 80 microns are possible. Excess powder material can be recycled back into the circuit.
